스웨져 노트 practice exam의 문제입니다.
문제 중 she conducted a hypothesis test and concludedthat at a 5% significance level, the null hpothesis can be rejected that RTN company's investment return would be equal to or less than 25% per year. 라는 문장에 의문을 느껴서 질문드립니다. null hypothesis에는 항상 equal이 포함되는 것으로 알고 있는데 null이 rejcet되는 alternative에 equal sign이 들어가 있고 해당 문제의 정답이 a번(기각역이오른쪽)으로 명시되어있는데 null이 rejcet되는 구간이 <=25%라면 lower tail(기각역이왼쪽)이 되어야하는것 아닌가요?

우선 영어해석부터...
"~ the null hypothesis~ that RTN company's investment return would be equal to or less than 25% per year"
여기서 that 이하의 문장이 null hypothesis 입니다.
이 부분에 대한 해석이 틀려 오해하신 겁니다.
Ho: mu <=25% 입니다.
따라서 기각역은 오른쪽 입니다.
